Stroly exhibited as one of the “Growth” Startup Companies on the last day, which is the highest level among 2150 participating startups. At the booth, while distributing postcards with a QR code to an illustrated tourist map of Lisbon created for this event, we introduced visitors to Stroly’s open media platform service that brings illustrated maps online with location information.

Participants in the summit came from 163 different countries around the world, with 46.3% of them being female.
Due to this, we were able to exchange points of views and receive feedback such as “I want to use this service to help people navigate through complicated old roads in Lisbon”, “I want to incorporate it into travel-related services”, “I want to collaborate with creators in my country”, and “I can use it for educational programs for children”.

Stroly has been working to expand its global presence in the US ( SXSW in March, TechCrunch Disrupt SF in October ) and Asia ( RISE in July ) throughout 2019. Here, at the Web Summit 2019 in Europe, we were impressed that many sessions were focused on themes such as environment/politics/individual rights/openness/well-being as equal to or more than technology, marketing, and investment.

Through our communication with visitors at our booth and the focus on this year’s program, we were able to realize once again that our motto “Share the Way We See the World”, resonated with the attendees to this event.

Stroly is a collaborative media for illustrated maps linked with geolocation technology, where anybody can upload ones with a different perspective of view. We provide alternative ways to discover the values of the area.

We will continue to contribute to the creation of a better future through Stroly by enriching your view of the world.
