Stroly Inc. has been selected as the Official Map Sponsor of SXSW2023, the World’s Largest Festival, for the third year in a row!
For the third year, the digital illustrated map has been significantly updated with the ability to be updated in real-time with event information that changes with the time of day!
(Headquarters: Kyoto, Japan; President: Machi Takahashi) will be the official map sponsor of SXSW (South by Southwest), an international event held in Austin, Texas, USA, for the third consecutive year, supporting maps distributed on-site.
In addition, a GPS-linked digital illustrated map featuring conferences, live events, and exhibition facilities is now available on a special website. The vast amount of information will be aggregated on the online map platform “Stroly” to deliver an interactive map experience to attendees from around the world.
SXSW is the world’s largest event of its kind, combining the latest technology exhibits, music, and film festivals, and is held in Austin, Texas, for 10 days from Friday, March 10 to Sunday, March 19. During the event, the entire downtown area of Austin will be the venue, and the entire city will be transformed into SXSW with more than 400 events (more than 4200 during the event) simultaneously held at the convention center, hotels, live music venues, etc. each day. The importance of a map linked to events and location information (GPS) is extremely high, as attendees will be traveling over a wide area and need to keep track of multiple events being held simultaneously.
The original map, which can be accessed on smartphones and PCs via the URL on the special site, utilizes Stroly’s patented technology and is linked to location information (GPS), making it possible to see at a glance information on events taking place nearby. A vast amount of information on events, conferences, local restaurants, etc. is aggregated on the Stroly map platform and information on what is being held where is visualized and expressed in a well-designed illustrated map. This intuitive digital map will contribute to improving the map experience for participants visiting from around the world and the convenience of collecting information on-site.
